Characteristics and application:
A kind of cold work tool steel, belonging to Ledeburitic steel of high carbon, high chromium and high abrasion resistance;
With quite good hardenability, obdurability, abrasion resistance and small quenching distortion;
Used for making cold wok tool steel of large cross section, complex shape, heavy shock loads and high abrasion resistance, such as: silicon steel dies, silk thread rolling dies, wire drawing dies and etc.
Heat treatment regime
Quenching 960~980℃, oil cooling; Tempering 180℃±10℃.
Delivery condition and hardness
Annealing, hardness is bellow 255HBS.
